Why Yapes you may ask.. well Yapes is my nickname having evolved from ape to apes to Yapes! And what does Yapes love to do? Paint!!.. its a statement…Yapes Paints!  I am a self-taught artist residing in  White Rock near Vancouver BC.  Busy with work as an Registered Nurse working in the community, I value painting as a time for relaxation and reflection. I am a creative person and feel that painting truly allows me to let my creative energy flow. Over the years I have developed my painting techniques and have concentrated on developing my own unique style. I always enjoy trying new ways to create works of art.

     Since my first showing in a restaurant in Victoria BC in 2007 the response to my work has been incredible and I haven’t looked back! Now living in Courtenay, I am able to spend more time on painting and have been involved in many shows and art markets. My work is sold in retail stores in BC and is part of private collections in Canada as well as Australia and Asia. I’m loving every minute of being an artist and cant wait to see what the future will bring!
