Registry

       If  you and your partner and interested in registering for a unique art gift by April Lacheur it can be done! Simply send April an email at yapespaints@hotmail.com and let her know what you are interested in. It could be an existing original painting, prints, a   guest book or photo album or a commissioned piece done especially for you! You don’t have to know exactly what you would like.. just an idea is ok. When sharing your registry with your guests simply let them know you are registered with April Lacheur and pass on my website/email/phone  info. Guests can email me and we can arrange for a gift certificate that can be purchased via pay-pal.  A group of guest may chose to put funds toward a larger piece. An original piece of art is an investment and  unique gift that you will keep for many happily married years to come! Any questions feel free to call April at 250-702-5447.

Invitations

     Art cards by April Lacheur make unique and memorable wedding invitations! Your individual invitation is printed inside using the wording of your choice. Any of April’s art card images can be chosen and a choice of an RSVP card is available. Thank you cards featuring images by April are also available. Order both your invites and thank you cards  from April and receive 10% off.  Invitations and thank you cards are printed on 100% recycled paper and guests are encouraged to frame the image or share it with a friend instead of throwing it away making it a eco-friendly option.  If you are interested in wedding invitations please email April at yapespaints@hotmail.com for an in-depth list of layout choices and price list.

Guest books and albums

       April has teamed up with ‘Those great little books’ of Victoria (www.thosegreatbooks.com) to create one of a kind hand painted, hand bound guest books and albums using handmade paper. The front covers are wrapped in canvas and hand painted by April Lacheur making it a truly functional original painting! The books are hand bound in coptic style binding, an ancient style that is painstakingly beautiful and allows the books to lay flat. Your guests will love signing your unique guest book and you will cherish your  hand painted wedding album. The front of your album is an original piece of art chosen by you and will look great displayed as decor in your home. You will always have your wedding photos handy! These albums are also GREEN! How so? the paper on the back and inside covers is made from the inner bark of the Lokta bush which grows on the slopes of the Himalayas. There are whole villages in India and Nepal which make paper from the Lokta as their primary industry and income source. It’s very sustainable and environmentally friendly because they don’t have to cut down the bush to harvest the inner bark, and the same plant can be harvested every two years. The supplier of this paper has been doing business with the same families for years therefore by purchasing these books you are supporting these families as well as supporting local BC small business.
